SEO'ing a forum?

    What are you guys experiences with SEO'ing a forum?

    I have been working really hard on my AdminMania site to try and make it as best it can be for search engines to get the content and list it. I have installed the phpBB SEO mod which makes the URLS in a much better format as the example below...

    I also have added keyword and description meta tags with decent data.

    And on the footer I have

    Think I'm on the right track? Any more suggestions would be awesome! :cool:

    thare are tons of mods available, however i would suggest mybb instead of phbb

    in phpbb is not much to do whit seo.You can change urls, titles, metas and thats is propably all.Now onli make backlins to your site

    Have u done some keyword research Of exactly what u are trying to rank for ? that will be great.
    Check what your competition sites are optimized for, that will make the seo stuff easy.

    for vbulleting u can use vbseo which supposedly helps
