I get several offers to buy our domain...

It doesn't have very much traffic (<50 uniques per day), and generates little revenue.

we don't plan to sell it yet, as we have only started in earnest two months ago to develop it.

Any ideas of a what a serious offer for it would be?

Thats cool. I wouldn't sell unless it is a crazy high price.

I own a 4 letter domain, but I am holding out for at least 10 more years. :)

You could definately Get in the $xx,xxx for that domain if you pushed hard.

But personally I'd hold onto it for the meantime.

I would seriously keep it up. It has huge potential, and the price will only keep increasing.

Thanks for the input everyone. I am inclined not to sell it, as I have only got back "in" to the interwebs, and alot has changed in the last few years.

I was thinking of leasing it by the day, or week...anyone interested? lol

If anyone wants to trade links- pm me

That is a GREAT four letter domain, jeez i wish i had that :(
That could definatly pay for my university funds that would be great.

Please give it to me, so i can pay for university!! :D

No, in all seriousness thats a great name, i would keep hold of it, and develop it, developing that domain into a awesome website, woudl get you some serious bucks for it when the time is right.

Right now i wouldnt accept anything less than $10,000 for it, that might be high or low not sure, i think its a low amount.

    But hey

    Thats a keeper :)

    Will.

    Hi,

are we talking about brag.com here? If so thats a great domain name to own and could definitely earn you a five figure sum ($) if you sold it.

If you decide to sell, i advise you to check out http://www.dnforum.com , thats the place all the pros go to buy and sell domain names. Theres been several million plus dollar sales there over the years, so i'm sure your domain will be bought fairly quickly.

Our company can develop the domain into a full blown site offering you a % of the revenues.

We can set up shares with our in-house attorney after negotiating them.

The site currently looks like it was made in 96. If it's $ you are looking for, consider this offer.

Hold onto it and try to build some kind of niche around it.

Here's an idea, instead of having affiliate products on it
build a myspace like social site where people become part of the community and brag about stuff.

You can get a free script if you're on a budget to build a myspace like community at:
    http://www.boonex.com/products/dolphin/

    best wishes

Thanks- I have been thinking about a social site also...and thank you for the link to the boonex site, it looks pretty legit...I have just begun reasearching web 2.0 softwares and that is a good start.

Again, I don't have intention to sell it anytime soon, and would be interested in mutual promotional efforts with any interested parties... and the offer is still out there for leasing the homepage on a day-to-day basis. not sure if that is a good idea, but who knows... its the internet, right?
