Does any buddy know how i can make my squidoo lense to rank high at google and yahoo. I see lotta people lense ranking very high but mine aint ranking any better. I got about 4 lenses with no traffic . Please gimme some help.
Try writing some articles about your niche and submit them to ezinearticles.com...make sure that you link back to your lens. I hope this helps.

Ranking high on SE with Squidoo lens is very much possible. In fact I had a few success with my lens on T shirts designs and satellite TV shopping. A few basic points: Write with SEO in mind - include keywords in the title, bold your keywords and so on Build your lens's link popularity - at least, develop a certain number of links to the lens Keep your lens fresh - updates frequently and make unique content Interact with other lensmaster to increase the visibility of your lenses. I have had success with some lenses that had backlinks pointing to them I still have a lens that sends about 30 uniques a month which is not much but hey its free traffic ... but that should be squidoo's job! if you have to work your butt off to promote a lens, then you might as well get your own site. besides, squidoo just give you 50% of the NET income. squidoo is useless. imho. nick p.s. incidentally, we have an ad sharing program and give 100% of the revenue (not income), which is a lot more check my sig for details.
Squidoo Inc's job is to provide tools and a platform that works. The system works. For those that make it work for themselves.
Leave Squidoo while you can and try weebly or googlepages. Squidoo is so bad when it comes to attracting traffic that it's now worth the effort.
The same ways you drive traffic to any other site... I've sure you've seen plenty of stuff out there for driving traffic... its all over the place... I use Google Adwords to drive traffic to my main business, but that wouldn't be a very good return on investment for a lens... I'd try as others have stated... articles and forums
I have never really understood Squidoo. It seems complicated and they use all these "web 2.0 terms". Why dont they just call it what it is? I feel like it's 1999 again saying things like "engineer web-enabled users", "integrate collaborative mindshare", or "architect best-of-breed methodologies". It's an article. Why they call it a lens? Stupid.
There are absolutely TONS of lenses on Squidoo focused on squidoo-centric topics. Ie, anything related to squidoo. Promotion, html tricks, traffic driving methods, creating good content. Their discussion forums are generally helpful, and whaddya know, you'll probably get some referrals in addition to some basic knowledge f you post these questions there. Do alittle diggnig and you'll find some speculation on their lens ranking algo, too. Squidoo traffic is easier to aquire than traffic to a new domain. Google takes their tags seriously. Try searching - tagging tricks for your lens - . Link building is of course a close second. Try searching for - free website link building tips - A little more diggin' in and you'll be in business.
