Does MSN have a dup content filter?

Discussion in 'Bing' started by ronmojohny, Jan 24, 2006.

I have an affiliate site that probobly has thousands of dupe content sites just like it. I want to add some backlinks to get it listed higher, I know Google has a dupe content filter, but what about MSN?

    Thanks, RonMo

I doubt they do. They have had problems with clone sites ranking well in the SERPs and taking up most of the natural positions. They might be trying to solve that but for now I still see duplicate content sites showing up.

I can't say for sure...but I don't think MSN is penalizing sites for duplicate content at this point.

I'm sure MSN will be working on this for the future, you here some people say that MSN acts a lot like Google did about 2 years ago...don't know if that's entirely true...but Google is definitely more advanced.

I've had the site for 2 years already, no control of content, I am just trying to get it ranked higher.

www.world.isotonix.com if you want the url.

I am just messing with you. Create the site and try to get as much of it unique as you can.

Google and Yahoo both do but MSN has to do some work in that area.
