Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I'll like to find out what are the 5 key aspects of a good (or bad) affiliate program. What advice would you give a fellow affiliate? Thanks.
Things to look our for i suppose would be: Is the Opportunity Affordable? Is the product or service really valuable? Can the Average Person Do It? How long has the company been around for? Finally, what types of payment methods it offers? There the 5 main things i generally look for with an affiliate program. Checkout my signature for my favorite affiliate program.
1. Good website you are sending the traffic to 2. High click to conversion ratio 3. High payout 4. Great banners 5. available, helpful affiliate managers
How does one determine a high payout? I've noticed that the programs that pay high commisssions are often harder to execute. My buddy worked on a product on Clickbank that offered $50 commission per sale but so far, he's spent over $40 on Google ads for the product and still hasn't made a sale. I'm currently looking at a program that offers $1 per registration on the company's site. Is this high enough? Or should they be paying more
You can find one such program in my signature. It pays $1 for every free signup and payment is by paypal or check.
I clicked on the link in your signature but the site wasn't clear on how it worked. I guess it's their loss. Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and try the $1 program I was looking at. I guess I can't go too wrong by placing their banner on my site. The site is search engine for ads called Aductions. I'll let you guys know how I get on. Wish me luck.
1. Established Site (at least 5 years) 2. Established Affiliate Program (at least 2 years) 3. Good Product and Excellent Customer Service (happy customers return again) 4. At least 70% commission for digital products and 20% - 30% for physical products. 5. Niche & Unsaturated. Use that criterea and you won't go wrong. Check out our signature for a site that fits the bill.
I've clicked on your signature and once again, I'm not sure what it is all about. $180 for a Doctorship? $210 for a Professorship? Is it a joke or a scam? Dude, I'm afraid I'm not very comfortable with it. I need something I can put on my blog and that promo won't fit at all. I'm just had an email exchange with Aductions and they seem pretty cool. They explained the referral program in detail and it seems straighforward. It gives me a $1 credit anytime someone fills their form, and all I have to do is put a text link on my blog.
I'm referring to both actually because I think they are linked. An affiliate network becomes good by offering good programs, right? The question is whether $1 is good if all you have to do is send someone to their site to register.
Yes you should just look at the payout amount..it all about how well the merchant's site converts from click to sale or lead. What I meant was that you should always be concerned with obtaining a higher payout from all the advertisers you affiliate with...
A good measure for high payout is the EPC parameter which stands for earning per click. a program's EPC reflects how much you make on average per click on the offer. You might also want to check out the ecpm field which shows earning per thousand impressions but my favourite is the EPC. For a high paying network, signup to never blue ads via the link in my signature
1. Quality product not just something to get peoples money. 2. Payouts per sale or lead between $15-$50. Any lower not worth the time, any higher to hard to make a sale. 3. Timely accurate payments.
1. a product you would actually buy yourself 2. the right program for it by an established provider (Check reviews) 3. commissions amount minimum 30$ per sale, depends on the CTB 4. grade of competition
