well. it is only the 4th. I think with the New Year being at the start of the week a lot of people are still 'on holiday' - (officially or unofficially) until next week, when things will get back to normal
Depends on what sort of sites you have your adsense ads running on guys. If you have any sort of auto-generated rubbish then you can expect to lose a lot more than 50% of your earnings! The boffins at the googleplex are intent on eliminating anything but genuine content sites from doing well with adsense. Anything thats just a mass of links, scrapped content or even rss generated content is becoming more and more frowned upon. Anything that doesn't fit their description of quality content is going to eventually disappear from their index all together ... and you know what that means for your adsense cheques!
Yesterday was extremely weird for me. One site had 300 more uniques, another had 100 more uniques, the blog had decent hits, parked pages did very well... musta done something right staying up 20 hours optimizing a week ago!
The Christamas shopping season is over. Retails sales are down and the same is true for online sales.
hey guys... my earning from adsense was not good last 2 months, but starting this new year, it IS GREAT. Average click is $0.45 and I am getting more and more traffics from search engine and increase in click count. I am not sure what I did, but I am not complaining. Its going to be a good year...
Infact in my case with the start of the new year, the earnings have really picked up which was quite low in December due to holidays.
Every year earnings drop in the first week or two of the year because everything pretty much ended at the end of the year, and its takes times for the networks to get campaigns going again.
Yeah December was very disappointing, but January dailies are looking to be very good highest revenue in quite a while.
