    I'm not sure if you're referring to this but if you import a .psd file into a flash document, you are allowed to import all the layers from the PHotoshop file (they automatically get placed in different layers in Flash as well). Hope this is what you were looking for.

    Hi,
    Please note that this applies to flash CS3 only, in earlier version, the whole psd would be imported as one single flat bitmap

    True, I forgot to mention that I used Adobe Creative Suite 3 to test this. I'm assuming in early versions, when Flash was owned by Macromedia and Photoshop by Adobe, they didn't correlate the two programs. I'm glad I could help a764.

    Your best route is to export your PSDs from Photoshop, saving and optimizing them as web images, then using them in Flash. Importing a PSD directly into Flash would create H U G E flash movies.
