WEll there is different kinds, there is also Porsches for 70k The one he mentioned is like a race car haha
I would suggest looking at a Skyline before you throw money at a Porsche. It will cost you a fraction of the money to buy, run and service. Personally I think they look better too and you will be all over the average porche both on a straight and corners (they have 4 wheel steering) have a look at the GTR, if that;s too much to handle go for the GTS
Here is a picture of mine. And before you say, WTF? Yes, it is a Porshe. You may be looking at an American Made Harley, but that there is a Porsche Motor pushing 115hp. How do I like it? The doctors are still trying to wipe the smile off my face!
My dad actually had a 914 (candy apple red ) when I was a little kid. Nice 928's in the garage there! I had a supercharged 928s4...WHAT A BEAST!
Thank you! It is a bit cheaper than buying the actual car. Though personally, I would love to have a Porsche Boxster! Ah, some day..
My old man drives a Boxter... I'm a big fan of the Cayman though- I saw one the other day... Looks stunning in the flesh.
Boxsters are gay- IMO. he he! My dad said that his 914 used to get hit all of the time on the road and in parking lots because of how small it was.
As far as Porsche's go - they are't the best... Now THIS is the one I want. 356b Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. That is my ULTIMATE car - like, the car I dream about... Soooo purty.
The OUTLAW! I'd like to get a GT2...but my wife wont let me. ...oh yeah, and they're $135,000 Actually, I've owned 2 944's and a 928. The 928 was in the shop more than it was in my garage. That F'er smoked at every stop light. The 944's were nice cars...but dogs. Still, the most comfortable car (to drive) I've ever had Does anyone else name their cars?
The GT2 is a great bit of kit, but once you get to that price range, you might as well save a little longer and get the Carrera GT... *drool* Ouch!
It wasn't that bad, it was a nice toy and my first car. I also had a Fiat 124 spider at the same time, I preferred the Fiat because it was convertible, too much trouble with removing the top on the Porsche. I wasted a lot of money on sport cars until couple of years ago but those cars don't interest me anymore. I still keep couple of cars but I really have no use for it. I have a 1935 Auburn Boat tail, 1973 Oldsmobile convertaible (455 eng.) and a 2004 Jaguar and in a best case, I drive may be once a week, the rest of the time I just walk or take a cab since I live in downtown.
