How are no follow Reciprocal links weighed in SERPs

I'm on a steady link building campaign for my niche and have emailed several sites who are not direct competitors, but really could use some of my traffic due to my better SERP for some of their keywords. I agreed I would add their link to a new page for their niche so they could potentially get more clients if they would link to my site, preferably from their homepage.

Of course, I am looking to improve my SERP since I am trying to monetize through affiliate sales and adsense. The link exchangers are looking for more direct business from my traffic through the new page.

If my links to their site are no follow, will this help my SERP or does it even matter? In general, how much weight do related reciprocal links have versus non related one way links. All comments are appreciated.

No follow will not help thier site and keep the PR you would loose if they where regular links. Not sure sites would link back if you use no follow links

This is SEO Theory No proof to the pudding.

I am a fan of no-follow blogs. True no link juice is transfered, my thoughts are that when ever search engines find links to your site from relevant sources it works in your favor.

Having no follow link back will definitely boost your PR and SERPs because Google loves one way link. But that would seldom work because webmasters hate to exchange links with no follow sites.

The exchange I offered is really for traffic to them and link juice for me, not link juice for them. I rank much higher in SERP than they do and most of them have webmasters that work the sites for them. So do nofollows from links from my site to theirs count as one way links if they have one to mine without nofollow? I guess that's the main question. If it doesn't matter, then I won't pursue it...Thanks

They link to you and if you link back with no follow it is counted as a one way link.
"How many people will refer to resources page?" Note this question which i always ask.

    EZ Business,
The page their links are on is specific to their niche and I have created that page specifically for them. I have already received several links this way as it can give them good traffic if the visitor to my site is looking for their services, which I believe many of them are.

So you are confirming that the nofollow on the link from my site to theirs with their recip will count as one way?

Robots from Google do not follow links with nofollow attribute. That means to the robots, its the sites that are pointing towards u.
