I'm looking for some one who can tell my my forums is loading slowly and help me fix it. My webhosts says my memory usage and other server stats are fine, but myself and users notice slow initial load times of my sites and I really want them to load as fast as possible.

Please contact me after you have looked at my site if you can help me:

Very odd, some people say it loads fast some people say it loads slow.

Is there a way to test my banwidth speed and my websites load speed using some site?

Last time I experienced that was with a bad host that was run out of some dude's living room. People that were downstream got slow connections where as people upstream had fast. Something like that.

    Who is your host?

    Test with: http://www.iwebtool.com/speed_test

    I get: www.yourdesignforums.com/ 49.35 KB 0.63 seconds 0.01 seconds

quickest way to increase load speed, is to assign a second domain or sub domain (ie static.domain.com) and load all the images and static files via it (images, css,js etc), this will decrease your loadtime somewhat (a web brower by default will only open 2 connections per domain, so doing the above will increase the connections to your from 2 to 4).

That would increase it by a small amount, I think he was refering to a very slow load time. Connection issues is my best bet. Make sure the host is not some kid with a server on a cable line.

Doesn't seem like you need much fixing, it loads fairly fast for me. Now, sometimes being on a shared host can come with it's ups and downs. I learned that well with bluehost.

If your on a shared host not much you can do there's a few .htacess things you can do (plus i dint check if your using page compression usually helps for the css file) but if your on a vps or dedi i can do wonders for you lol just needs a few cfg tweaks. It's not crawling slow but its not extreme either. But that's usually the drawbacks of overselling.
