Reciprocal Links and Location of Link

    How are reciprocal links viewed by the search engines. If the reciprocal link is to the main page, and the returning link is from an inner page, will this make a difference in how much SERP effect it has? All views are welcome. Happy New Year everyone!!:D

    If the 2 pages have same rank they do not do much in terms of adding pr if one is lower and link back goes to that page from higher pr page it gets more pr

    Sometimes, the inner pages have more PR than the mainpage as well :)

    Comments appreciated! What I was looking for are reciprocal links downgraded in SERP improvement and are they looked at differently if coming from different pages vs. homepage?:confused:
