Cancer is pretty serious. I know some people who have it and my own mother has it . When my friends find out they are like "oh my aunt died from cancer". IMO that's not the most encouraging information lol... Do you have somebody in your family or a friend who has cancer? I'm sure one day they will cure it...
Sorry to hear that your mum has cancer, I recently found out that a family member was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. I have some info on my site relating to cancer and nutrition which some of you may find interesting. You can find them here, breast cancer, cancer, prostrate cancer and articles about prostrate cancer.
I haven't got anyone wit cancer in my family and i hope i won't. I hope your mother will recover her health...
To help speed process of finding a cure how about: http://folding.stanford.edu/ How about making a DP folding@home team.
Do check out the natural foods method, especially look into glyconutrients and phytochemicals (all natural food derived of course) Things that feed your immune system to strengthen it.

Those cigarettes, if laid end-to-end, would cover about 11 miles.
It seems to be more and more common these days. Thank that on our pollution driven society... the air in major cities is toxic.
The mother of my girlfriend died 1 day after her 18'th birthday. I was there to witness it. Not a very nice experience.
I had my father with colon cancer, but he recovered Unfortunately my uncle and my cousin are battling against 2 different kinds. Then there's my 10 year old nephew, who was dignosed with leukemia almost 2 years ago, but so far, so good, and on February the 25th he should complete his therapy. I have to keep my fingers crossed. I whish you the best for your mother. Where is she getting treatment and what kind of cancer has she got?
Is this one of those threads that got kicked off to try to hit-up the high-paying keywords Shawn said he was a little concerned about in the interview with the NY Times?
I agree with fworth, not only in association with cancer but with all degenerative diseases, if you smoke, give up, it is the best health decision you will every make. On average, smoking will take 6 years off your life.
I hope it's not so. There's nothing funny with what I posted. And money should not have anything to do with this thread.
No, I know that uca. Genuine people will post genuine concerns and stories of life tragedies. I'm just basing my question on the initial post and apparent lack of depth considering such an emotive topic.
Yeah my mom didn't get it from cigarettes although she does smoke. The doctors say she may as well keep smoking because the cancer will get her before the smoking will.
If you smoke or not smoke. Our deaths are decided by god! What about those people who gets cancer even though they are not smokers....What about those smokers who happily enjoy their tenure on this planet earth till their death. If you are not a smoker do not try for that. If you are smoker try to avoid smoking and have a god fear!
Does that make an atheist immune? Seriously, your body has all the ammo needed to fight off most things. Try reading (and more seriously researching) some of the info these guys write: http://www.patrickholford.com/ http://www.newstarget.com/ http://www.mercola.com/
My dog, Senna, died having cancer and she did not smoke, she ate healthy meals, didn't work in dangerous environments, didn't have a mobile phone and so on... There's still a lot to be discovered about cancer and I can only say that people that have cancer should fight because there's always hope, sometimes help can come from God or whatever you believe in, sometimes from science, or maybe from both....
