I never hear of any other faiths doing this...like the other day, in Birmingham, they were giving away Suicide bomb dvds for children in Mosques, what are these people (radicals) thinking?

that they are on a mission from God. And actually, this kind of stuff does happen to other religions. Just a few weeks ago there was several shootings in Colorado by a nutjob who was Christian...and it all happened at a church. Its just that it seems (to me) that Islam is much more extreme with killing, by using suicide bombers, IED's, etc.

The terrorist attacks are motivated by extremist views of Islam.

That's why the attacks and terrorists are identified as islamic or muslim terrorists.

Poor Thailand, they are such friendly people. I guess that was the problems caused by Southern Thailand Muslims who wanted independence from Thailand. They had already fought long enough :(

every country should be threatening these extremists with their life. there should be great fear in their hearts so that this never happens. f*ck letting the government handle the job, the people should be able to.

just because i support ron paul and don't agree with invading other countries doesn't mean i'm soft on terrorism. i guarantee i'm one of the toughest on terrorism throughout this forum.

can you really blame people having a stigma on Muslims if certain people keep doing stuff like this?
it's such a shame that people can generalize a whole religion
but seriously, with extremists doing shit like this it's hard not to be afraid of people talking in a different language when you're on a train or bus.

That's what muslims extremist are trying to do, create a stigma and a hatred for muslims so that even normal muslims felt threaten and raise up in arms. And that is precisely the reason why we should not generalize the violent actions of the few as acts by the muslim community.

If they want glory from their God, why would they do that to their own religion? I don't get it...

Because they know that their small group alone can't achieve their aim of creating an Islamic state, they need to drag down the rest of the mainstream muslims. Their so call glory was their jihad and formation of an islamic state, lives, whether be it their own fellow muslims and others aren't important.

Acts of a few fanatics should not be genralised as being the actions a whole religion.

Yes, this is what I am trying to emphasize in the last few posts. Alienating normal Muslims because of a few extremists creates a vast pool of recruits for these extremists.

    why that's hard ?
just try to read about war in islam and you will know that it is forbidden to cut a tree in the war .. it is forbidden to fight a non-army man .. it is forbidden to fight a woman or a child.

this should be all clear when ppl know that the greeting between muslims is "Salam alikom " which means " Peace on You" .

Every religion has a group of ppl who understand it wrongly and apply it wrongly ..
