Hehe, Its just been a couple of hours and one of my servers is up and running...!!! I can't really test the connection with my 512kbps residential connection coz I am from INDIA however, I got about 80mbps while transferring a file from this server to my chicago server..! NOTE: the chicago server is on a 1Gbit port! I am extremely excited about this and I just hope that Jake's service continues to be of the same quality..! Ok, I got my second server too now... I will post an extremely detailed review after 24 hours, but here's a short review for the first server: The server is way more powerful than what I ever imagined it to be! What caused a 2.5 server load on my core2quad isn't getting the load over 1.00 on this dual cpu opteron! Transfer speeds are going upto 90mbps and averaging at 70mbps..!! I sent in 2 emails to him, 1 was for a question about the server..it was handled very professionally and was replied to in under 10 minutes. The second email was for a reboot (at about 3 AM in the morning in USA)...I wonder how my server was rebooted within 2 minutes! I don't think jake was awake at that time since he wasn't online on DP...looks like he has staff who has access to his email inbox and carry out requests upon instructions by his customers.. Well JAKE, you just earned yourself a customer for life
Thanks for the review... I have ordered 5 more servers from our hardware dealer and they will arrive on tuesday. Till tuesday, I have one server in stock..and on and after tuesday, I'll be having 6. Just pop in a PM to order a server
