This is another contribution to DP from the IdeaGod. I hope this inspires, provokes thought, encourages those who are losing hope, and opens your mind. This is my idea, free. If someone does this, I will be honored and contribute to the success. Free. BIG EVENTS BRING BIG ATTENTION, REMEMBER THAT!!!! If you do this idea, you will: 1) Be in the papers multiple times. (the site AND you). 2) Interviews, radio, magazines, and more. 3) Set/Break a state and world record. 4) Gain other media attention. 5) Be well known in your city. If you choose, surrounding cities too. 6) Profit thousands each month. 7) Be linked on over 100 blog sites plus dozens of others. 8) Gain new opportunities. 9) Meet new business (big business) connections and small business connections 10) Open dozens of new doors. 11) Have the ability to use the site, the attention you get from it, the media exposure you get from it, the image, and your name to make even more money. 12) Have a database of THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of members and email addresses for future use. Step 1 ----------- Purchase more lottery tickets at one time (24-48Hours) than anyone in the state/America. You are going to spend a total of $25,000 on scratch off tickets. That is thousands and thousands of 1 dollar tickets, 2 dollar tickets, 5 dollar tickets, 10 dollar tickets, and 20 dollar tickets. You are going to make goingforthejackpot, or watchmewinthelottery, or mylivelottery, or other domain of your choice. You will be broadcasting the event live on the website. Step 2 ------------ You are going to make major news headlines in your city on TV and in papers. "Man purchases $25,000 in scratch of tickets and broadcasts his winnings live on the internet", "Man makes largest ticket purchase in the state ", "Man sets state/world record for largest scratch off purchase" you get the picture. You are going to have better mathematical odds of winning a jackpot or big prize than ANYONE in America. If you buy $100 in tickets and I buy $25,000, my chances of winning a big prize are far greater. More chances to play means more chances to win. More chances to win = better odds. (This is good for the news stories, interviews with other websites (and possibly tv) and others.) Note: You aren't just playing $25,000 in tickets, you are playing close to $50,000. YOU ONLY SPEND $25,000 though. Then you play the winners. Then you play those winners from the winners. Then you play those winners from the winnings of those winners, and on and on. You are going to offer the following features on your site: * Pictures of piles 2-3 feet wide of ticket flakes from thousands and thousands of tickets. It is good for publicity. * Bags full of losing tickets will also be included in the "Pictures" section AND main page. Good for show, good for getting the attention and views. * Video AND pictures of all of your winning tickets w/ close up of code numbers on the tickets. * Daily updates of how much you won that day out of how many you scratched, the names of the tickets, the dollar price, and more. * Daily blog updated with the experience, the thrill, the excitement, news updates, links to more sites featuring you, information, and more. * In-depth view for others to see and share. For people to get off work and check to see if you won the big one, how much you won that day, or yesterday, get information, and others. (For gamblers, it is a mouth watering experience. It makes every ticket player want to go buy some tickets and start scratching. It makes them more addicted to watching you than it is playing.) (You can't even purchase hundreds and hundreds of tickets at a gas station or store without people’s eyes opening, getting comments, attention, and eyes hovering over you. This is twice that.) * A lot more I won't go into. You'll figure it out. Math: How many tickets you buy with the $25,000 is up to you. The way I did it ($1, $2, $5, $10, and $20 tickets) you would have to sit down and scratch tickets for over 24 hours without moving, drinking, eating, sleeping, using the bathroom, talking on the phone, itching your nose, or stopping to see how much you won. You would also have blisters on your hands if not using a glove to scratch so many tickets. ---^ THAT IS A GOOD THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE - You are going to spend 2 to 3 months scratching, cashing in, scratching, cashing in, scratching, cashing in, scratching, cashing in, scratching, cashing in, scratching, cashing in. Probably close to or over $50,000 total in tickets (You only spend $25,000 though.) By the time you are done. THAT IS MAKING THE SAFE-INSTEAD-OF-SORRY ASSUMPTION that you won't hit anything over $500. If you hit a couple $1000 and a couple $500, or $2500, $1500, $5000, then it will be much longer. You want to keep people entertained as long as you can. I found that with 1 dollar monopoly tickets, the average winner in the books are a free ticket, $1, and $2. With 2 dollar monopoly tickets, the average winner is $2-$5 With 5 and 10 dollar monopoly tickets, the average winner is $5-$10. That is majority, not all the time. You can go buy 20 $1 monopoly tickets to test 3 or 4 times. It will look something like this: Spent: $20 Won: $12 Spent: $20 Won: $8 Spent: $20 Won: $25 Spent: $20 Won: $14 Important: The overall odds are 1 in 3.-- to 1 in 4. That doesn't mean every 4 tickets is a winner though. You might buy 4 tickets and get 3 winners. You might be 4 tickets and get no winners. The important thing is, that in my experience I NEVER ONCE scratched more than 6 tickets without a winner. There were a lot of times where I got 3 winners in a row, or 2 winners in a row, then 2 more winners in a row out of 10-12 tickets. The chances of you scratching 10 tickets in a row with no winner are very, very, very slim. Experiment with it yourself to see. Important TWO: Buying at the end of the book, beginning of the book, middle, certain numbers, certain dates, and everything else is usually all false. The majority of the time it is random. It is like how people say about slot machines "rub the machines!", or "machines with warm seats are hitting" or "You have to use a 1 hundred dollar bill" and all the other things people believe think will make them win. I looked it up on google, spoke with some sources, and also experimented at the Diamond Jacks casino, Ameristar, Golden Moon, and Silver Star. Strategy comes into play, yes, but not myths. (If you plan to do this idea, please contact me for strategy tips.) MONEY -------------- - Profit from advertising - Profit from affiliate products - Profit from Membership sales (For exclusive pictures and videos, extra features, full blogs, and access to "Round 2" which will be available to only paying members as a limited time offer, you have to be a member.) - Profit from the Ebook you write with exclusives, experience, the thrill, stories, excitement, the problems, the chaos, the trouble, the media, the fame you gained in your city, how people started to look at you, how people stared at you, the extras, and more! - Profit from the DVD/Movie of reactions, winnings, scenes of scratching, never seen before footage, and others. (If you choose to.) - Others of your choice. NOW, dozens of doors have opened for you. You have gained the attention of a large crowd, the media, made the largest lottery ticket purchase in your state and possibly the country, gained a big reputation in your city, been featured in hundreds of blogs with pictures of your foot high 3 feet wide ticket flake piles and trash bags full of tickets, pictures of 4000-8000 fresh tickets, had your pictures of ticket flakes and thousands of tickets flashed around the internet, been featured on other media sites and related/non-related sites, good word of mouth buzz, profits, fan mail, hate mail, offers, opportunity, dozens of new doors opened, new contacts and connections, and more importantly you made a lot of money and can use everything I just said to make MORE money. Now you can make more money, now you have a large mail list and database of free and paying members. Now you have gamblers at your e-door asking when Round 2 is coming. You can sell your ebook to people in your community and even more people online. Every gambler and even non gambler knows who you are in the city now. You've been in the papers multiple times now AND on TV (If you choose). You are going to make manual/direct sales and traffic/site sales and use your reputation as a "World record breaker" or "state record breaker", "the guy who bought $25,000 in scratch offs" to profit and gain. Now you have an image, viewers, fans, haters, media, news, and others to work with. 1 year later and the $30,000 to $35,000 total that you spent for the whole project has gave you over 1 million visitors, membership sales, ebook sales, advertising profits, affiliate program profits, and about $70,000 in pure profit (Estimated) after 1 year total with everything combined plus fame (good or bad fame is still profitable). Now dozens of doors are open to you now, you made connections, have a large group of people you can sell other products to, mailing lists, membership database, and more. Setup some affiliate programs and sell gambling and lottery related products to your visitors. Keep your database of visitors and members and customers to market other products too. Start another blog and make another $700 to $1200 a month from your popularity and the simple fact that you did what you did and made news headlines. You set a record. The Main Obstacles: - Security. - Getting the money. - Being able to handle it. Maybe you're not ready for that big of a step yet.
Remember, you're scratching a total of $50,000 in tickets but only spending $25,000. After you cash in, scratch, cash in, scratch on and on and on it totals almost or over $50,000 in tickets. Unless you hit a jackpot.
Forget me if I am a bit harsh, it would be better to spend your time looking for a job and working hard, believe me $30 000 is not difficult if you work hard and save hard.
One of my friend had an idea of buying alot of tickets to win but this is something far more detailed. Where do i get my $25k which can buy me a car?
LOL. What???????????????? Harsh? You sound confused...far from harsh. You are comparing this: 1) Be in the papers multiple times. To a job?????????? What are you talking about? $30,000 is just the price of the project, you make 3x that.
You can contact the news, the blog owners, media sites, and others to show to a loan officer as proof of exposure, proof of profit, and proof of traffic. I'm sure once they verify news and media exposure, 100 blog owners waiting to entertain their viewers with it, and all of that good stuff they would be interested in a quick return.
Tickets should be purchased in multiple cities to increase chances of hitting a jackpot. You can probably order in rolls directly...I don't know for sure. Self-Quote: If anyone would like to attempt to explain how this .com idea isn't guaranteed traffic, guaranteed media exposure, guaranteed profits, guaranteed success, I'm listening. You learn something new every day.
interesting idea. You do have a point here. I once won $500 on a lottery scratch off back a wail ago. Making hte papers and tv, Etc would be great for advertisment to your video blog you may have this on. You would be also making money off your traffic. Here is a little off topic but look at the guy Jimmy Justice. He catches cops breaking the law, parking in no parking zones, and confronts the cop on camera and puts it on his web site. Now look at him, media all over. Has the Internal Affairs watching his videos writing cops siltation for breaking the law. But Jimmy Justices video on you tube, his video blog has SOO much attention now. It is the crazy ideas that really pays. Great post. You are for sure a IdeaGod +Rep on this one.
Another great idea, would be interesting if someone decides to do this. Such ideas can become profitable thanks to the media. Crazy maybe, but profitable. I don't want to become famous myself though. Good luck
