I have posted a link sales thread in appropriate section. I just PM info to DP members BUT I got Infraction with reason "Bumping Thread" for every PM WHY ? What wrong with me ?
check if u have bumped ur sales thread and also do read the rules of the forum in the BST section before posting..in future that might help you from infractions
It sounds like you didn't read the Bumping Infractions rule thread in the BST section. Click here for the thread.
for your reference: The following type posts or combinations of these types of posts typically receive bumping infractions. 1. "Thank you." posts. (Thank you messaages can be put in a PM.) 2. "PM sent." type messages. 3. "Stumbled or Dugg all." 4. Sequential or count down type messages such as the following. * Sale ends in 5 hours. * Sale ends in 4 hours. * ... or * Three more slots available. * Two more slots available. * One slot available.
There is no need to let every person know that you sent a PM, they will receive it. This just bumps up yout thread and adds post counts. You may end up getting an Infraction for starting an Infraction thread too.
I think you should just email or PM the mods, this does not seem to be the place to start a thread on infraction. At least the more appropriate one will be Suggestion and Feedback.
Yesterday i saw a thread from u with tittle "I am back" ,so its better not to start a thread like this and complaining about infraction.
I believe my thread is placed in correct section becasue "general chat" relating to "Anything your heart desires can be posted here."
yes. I don;t want to be banned again because I love DP. I am really happy to be here again. This is not a complaint, it is just what my felling is. That why I post this thread in "General Chat" section. "General Chat" section read "Anything your heart desires can be posted here." right ?
Yup thats true, but also read: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=216611 If you don't want to be banned, read all the sticky threads for that section you post in and have a general feel for the rules. If you have a quesiton about something ask it in the suggestion/feedback forum.
Look at it from the POV of a neutral person. Were those posts really, really needed ? It doesn't need a genius to figure out the answer
