BlueHost Hosting Service increases Features

I got to know about it recently, not sure if the rest of you knew about it. BlueHost, one of the best paid hosting services has increased its features; noticeably,

it has increased the storage capacity from 3GB to 6GB and bandwidth traffic from 3TB to 6TB, all are the same price of $6.95 per month.

This is definitely a great offer not to be missed!!

X TB bandwidth??? This is a joke, you will find yourself kicked out if you start averaging 20MB~30MB a month on a shared hosting plan...So 3 or 6 or 100TB, doesn't really mater...

From another side, if your site could use that much bandwidth a month, you could afford not using a shared hosting plan at less than 10 bucks a month ;)

6TB is no joke, 1 mbps line give 320 GB/mth, it takes a dedicated 20 mbps line to get a 6TB/mth. Are you sure you can get at such prices? My calculator is not working I guess :(

Anyway, I don't give those figures by random - you can check out the site directly, if you don't believe me. I'm pretty sure there are tonnes of other BlueHost members around in DP forums, who can also tell you the same story. Direct Link to BlueHost website is here.

You forgot to read the rules, you better removed the affiliate links, as it is not allowed or you may get infractions for that!

I had bluehost and I didn't like it, they give you all that space but I used like 1/4 of bandith allowance in the first couple days because I launched some videos recently and they capped me. My download speeds where stuck at horrible speeds.

They just have it set up to where you can hardly even use all of it without it being spanned evenly throughout the month. Once your capped it's perm too. :(

I had BH, it's good enough if you have static pages. If not, sooner or later you will see CPU exceed errors.

    HTML

You can host whatever you want, but BH can't handle much traffic. Keep this in mind.

Come on, it's not that bad... I do experience quite large incoming traffic at the same time... If you are experience CPU limit, chances are you have quite a poorly-written script. Alternatively, you can choose to use cache.

It's well worth the price but it's obviously over selling :)

It depends on what you mean by overselling. As far as I am concerned, as long as BlueHost provides that quality of service that meet my requirement, that is little or almost no downtime, and instant customer service support, then I don't care if they are overselling or not.

Furthermore, if they are able to receive much commendation, then it is not a bad hosting service after all. On the other hand, if you have a gush of traffic every single second, then I recommend you to go for dedicated hosting instead. No shared hosting is able to handle that kind of traffic.
