Because PR gets updated every 3 months and is not based on traffic but based on quality of inbound links to your site.
Page Rank is not based on traffic.Its on the bases of backlinks.So start create backlinks for ur site.You can build backlinks from directories,social bookmarking sites etc!
Man wake up PR is JUST A NUMBER It's update once at 3-4 months and is based on backlinks not traffic not rankings PR not equals traffic so don't bother
Why you want PR if You are already getting Thousands of Traffic Monthly, Ultimately you are getting traffic thats only the important thing ? Let me say for your Business PR is important or Traffic that you are already gaining ?
people say it's 3-4 months behind, but in my opinion it's more complicated then that. I've heard other SEOs talk about how Google will visit your site and asign it a secret PR value. Suppposedly it does this serveral times then averages the numbers out. Every few months it displays a public PR value that's based on the secret PR number, but uses a slighltly different algo. The explination I've heard for this is that Google doesn't want SEOs to figure out it's algo, so they won't display the real PR value. This makes a lot of sense to me because I've worked on sites and did all the basic stuff right and then seen the page rankings skyrocket, only to drop a few weeks later, then raise up again with no addtional work being done.
PR isn't an issue... Your traffic looks good... Get quality related backlinks for your site and you'll get PR eventually...
Hey neeshu You should'nt worry about PR. That eventually occurs based on the level of backlinks with PR pointing at you. Also, pr tends to fluctuate daily sometimes on websites. At times, you can view a site and the page rank maybe a 3 and then later it may change to a pr2. But again don't worry about it. Focus on gaining traffic not the pr for your site. frenzy25
You will get the PR once G makes an PR update. Now don't open a thread asking when will it take place as no one knows the exact date. Also, PR ain't that important.
That makes no sense to me, why would they show you a PR if it's not real. What would be the point of it? They might as well not show it at all.
As far as you know PR is not anyhow related to site traffic, well; deeply it is. When you get enough organic traffic, you will probably get decent PR.

concentrate on traffic and no PR. PR is not worthy in bringing you more traffic. However it is, especially in case of advertisers displaying ads on your site. As in case of text-link-ads
