Anyone who dosent appreciate any gift should be ashamed, very selfish to just dissmiss something like that.
I do appreciate the gifts of which I receive -- but you have to admit that a "used disposable camera" (the photos were unrelated to me as well) sounds like a joke, doesn't it? I don't mean a joke as in not showing appreciation, but as a funny joke.
lol yeah, I think that when it's obvious that somethings wrong then it's ok, but I can't stand people saying "Oh, my grandparents only gave me a pair of socks", it's so selfish.
sweet! hopefully it wasn't used. Was it the hardcore old school Chapstick that you can also use to lube noisy door hinges, or some kick ass fruity stuff?
Oh dear! Maybe it's a cultural thing. We just like to joke about stuff. This thread isn't to have a winge - but more to have a laugh... I am not an ungrateful person! I appreciate all of the gifts - just thought it would be funny
A used New Kids on The Block Christmas tape in a worn and beaten clear cassette case. It was a joke gift from my parents. I made the mistake as a 13 year old swearing I would loooove them forever and now at 29, I'm still paying for it.
Yeah I'd say it's fine to have a laugh about it but you used some strong words, or atleast suggestions of strong words in the thread title, I misunderstood. My joke present was a complete harmonica set with tutorial dvd, kinda fun actually . -Hecky.
That does sound like fun.. lol - for you!! Not sure about everyone else that has to listen in... haha
I was at the opposite end of the spectrum, I was a lot older when they were popular and absolutely loathed them and what they stood for musically looking back now it's kinda funny
something like that I think I still have an old NKOTB pin that some friends got me as a gag...I defaced it of course
A can opener from my sister-in-law. A fucking can opener. Who in the hell needs a new can opener for Christmas? (It's not even an electric one--just a plain old can opener)
