Hey my friend at http://www.jacksons-camping.co.uk is number 1 on google for everything literally he has. He has tried to help me with it, with http://www.gorkite.com, but to no avail! Do you guys have any SEO tips exclusive to Google? Cheers
I was looking at having a variety of key words, for the different brands we sell. The main and most popular are Bluearth, longboard, urban blue, scrub, mountainboard, mountain, board - the more the better really i am wondering how my site got PR4 lol
Check out your site and your text cached site and compare the keyword density to my site and my text cached site. There is always a lot to learn from looking at how googles text cache of your site looks.

Your mate's site was started over 7 years ago whereas yours has about 7 months.. that is 7 years longer to collect links and for those links to age. Google considers highly how old your domain is.. or in effect, how old the links are that are pointing to your domain. Since your domain, and therefore your inbound links, are only a few months old where as his are many years old, he will have a much easier time at ranking for competitive keywords.
Ah thanks for that - its common sense basically lol I don't want to sound nieve, but if I wait and collect links to partners and stuff, will my site find it easier to get a higher rank in google?? Cheers for the help!
To catch up with older sites you need to get more links and have better on page optimisation than they do. Even then it is difficult and will take time.
