If I were you, I wouldn't ask for 4, I would ask for one with an external XML or text file that feeds the application with the paths to the pictures you want to fade and thus I would have as many as I want

I would also want the fading time to be controlled via this external text/XML file on a per picture basis (each picture having its own fading time, thus you could display one for 5 seconds, the other for 10 etc...).

If this makes sense, and you find it a better solution, then I'll be glad to do such an application for $50. You get sources as well.
