Somebody stole my blog's name

Some guy registered a .com domain under my blogs name, EliteHackersPro.
    Here is the person's domain:

    http://elitehackerspro.com

    And here is mine:

    http://elitehackerspro.blogspot.com/

I was planning on registering it myself once I have acquired enough funds, but here comes a person and takes it himself.

    What can I do? :(

Nothing I can do I am afraid, cant say it is stolen, it is a first come first serve market. But they don't seem to be putting anything in there except ads, maybe you can contact them to buy over the domain?

Is there a contact on the site? To bad you missed it over $10. However you have no rights to it now. Having a subdomain is not enough to warrant any court to give it to you. They may be nice to give it to you for a good price...but I doubt it. I buy up all my competitors closely named links. They buy the .com and I buy the rest. Best advice...get a new name, the dot com will always be cooler.

He wanted to take the chance that people sometimes forgot the .blogspot.com so he could earn money form that.
That happens a lot you just have to deal with it. It might also be that he had an idea just like yours and wanted to make it on the domain. That wasn't registered. He won't sell it to you for $10
    That is true too.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do unless you are registered as a company in your home country, but the company would need to be named Elite Hackers Pro or suchlike. I know this because we own a .co.uk, a rival company registered the .com version, obviously trying to steal our traffic, a simple court order made them hand it over to us after we effectively threatened under DRM, and for the costs of going to court, the other company laid a brick or 12 and handed the domain over. Never uttered another word after that one:D

Nothing you can do, they can buy any domain they want. People bought my names that I wanted to, but such is life.

You can offer to buy it from them, but don't expect to get it cheap. Do a WHOIS from networksolutions.com
    http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp

And try to contact them. I pulled it, and there isnt much info there. I can tell you its parked right now, they are trying to make some cash.

If you do contact them don't approach them with the attitude that they ripped you off, becuase they did not. They just beat you to it, but thats not a crime. They own it fair and square. If you manage to purchase it from them, I would guesstimate based on prior experience that you could buy it from them roughly for $1000-$2000. I realize this is not the answer you wanted, but they own it fair and square. Be creative and keep moving forward.

Keep on blogspot. Your site seems well established so keep it on their. Who cares what he does. Or you could get the convert the content into a wordpress database and set the site up under a different domain/brand altogether, which is what I'd do.......

I remember before I went on blogger.com->Settings->Publishing, and I chose custom domain, I went and registered it, but I didn't enter my name, email, or anything, I just registered it.

    http://domainsite.com/shopping_cart.php

It says Google Apps, which is what I used.
Could it be that the domain is mine?

    Did you pay for it?
That is not registering that is just adding a custom domain. If you own it you have to change the ns. :)

Its a shame but it does happen, Its quite likley the person purchased it not even knowing of your blog.

As others have suggested you could make an offer, or you could simply check the expiry via whois and pickup the domain once it has dropped. Which is most likely if all that is being run is ads (no content or blog).
