Google Deep Crawl

    Has anyone seen G today doing a deep crawl? Since early this morning I have noticed Google doing a very very deep crawl. I have always noticed these right before an update. I dont want to speculate on an update but I dont usually see these deep crawls until it is time for an update. Anyone else seeing deep crawls today?

    It was last week for me. But for my sites I have never really seen a correlation between a deep crawl and a G update yet.

    Haven't seen a huge increase in Googlebot activity. If all you are seeing this maybe our PR Update is on it's way :)

    Its really getting heavy on my site at this point. Even more google bots, yahoo slurps have greatly increased, msn has a few in there, and "ask jeeves has even brougth in reinforcements.
