I would try to buy a few existing businesses with traffic (if you can get them under 200k) and rebrand them while maintaining your existing customers.

Each property is its own business and investment property is a great way to shelter money and build net worth, but its a business and just like any other business, you have to manage it (it could be time consuming).

On a different note, I have the same opinion as the guy that said duh. But, I would look for start ups and do some hard money lending. Look over several people's business plans and then go from there.

I'd start with investing only a few thousand until I understood what I was doing, and then invest more.

I'd probably invest $150,000 or so, into purchasing an existing and rather profitable website that's at least pulling in $13,000 /month revenue. That leaves me without approximately $50,000 left over, $35,000 or so of which I'd re-invest into website in the form of a massive advertising campaign. It really depends what my intentions are when purchasing that site though.

Bigger the money gets, more it can attract the profits if invested with carefully chosen business plan/asset.....so good luck with your plans

 

Start a network of solid ecommerce sites. Saying that is easy, finding a good SEO to market the ecommerce sites is the hard part. Good ones that get to page one for compettive terms dont exist, so I started doing it all myself, with good success so far.

I'd probably get together a list of floral dealers around the Nation, trying to stick with those who have been in business the longest, but for the remote areas new shops would have to do. Develop a method for website orders to be passed to local shops.
Setup an extremely basic website which focuses on performance & is soo easy to use even a drunk could do it. It doesn't have to be pretty, just the photos of the flowers do.
Spend a small fortune advertising on porn & poker sites that have chat rooms.
