A search for drug rehab on google.
The eighth result is an on-line pharmacy! I am infuriated. I have two sites in the top tem for that term, I worked on these sites for many months to accomplish this. Now this a-hole pops up with an online pharmacy for that term That to me is extremely unethical.
I have been worried about on-line pharmacies targeting drug treatment terms. It has happenned on low-search keywords but never on the main keywords of the industry until now. Is bigdaddy rolling out? because if this is the results of that update I dont want them. And neither do families, or people with drug problems looking for a solution!

Yep. I see it "Buy Cialis"....right in between "soberliving.net" and "soberforever.com." Google's filters really could do a much better job getting rid of such junk.

Report it to Google (both Adsense & search) and Fastclick (there's a Fastclick popup on the page in the SERPs that redirects to the pharmacy shop).

Just curious.. do you make money with the drug rehab listings? Referrals perhaps? I work with gambling addiction terms but haven't seen any treatment referral programs.

I do drug treatment sites SEO. I make money doing the jobs, as far as refferal programs go, I haven't dabbled much in that area. Mostly, if I am working on a detox website I link up with treatment/aftercare programs and vice-versa. I also do a lot of writing about different treatment methods. I have also never got into other types of addictions beside chemical, a little on eating disorders, but never gambling addictions. I do know that some of my clients have in-house refferals, where they make a few bucks by enrolling someone in a partner program. I don't handle those specifically.

I have reported it to Google. Why adsense though? And how do I report it to adsense?
I am going to go report it to fast-click now.

Because there's also an Adsense ad on the page that redirects. If you're using Firefox, click on the link in the SERPs and as soon as the page appears press Ctrl+U quickly to see the source of the page before it redirects to the pharmacy.

    same search, google drug rehab
    http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-47,GGLG:en&q=drug+rehab

Now position 7 and 9 are that redirecting pharmacy site! Even worse, and this is what I can't understand at all is this: (page two of the search)

    http://www.google.com/search?q=drug+rehab&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-47,GGLG:en&start=10&sa=N

chaeck out listing 12 (soberforever.net) how did that spam site get an INDENTED result for that website? I thought indented results were only from the same website!
    Can anyone explain this madness?

then when I click on page two, the google results end. it only lets me go to page two, no further. IS this my computer or is the same happening with you folks?

I reported the site to network54.com and they got canned for TOS violations. A short time later they dissappeared from Google. However Google did not remove them via my complaint. They only dropped after network54 took down their pages for TOS. Google spam report=BS
