i have found this info some where and going to share with you. This may be useful for everyone because edu gov site links play very important role in seo

to get edu backlink use this search query on google

    site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment”
    Code (markup):
you will get about 102,000 results

but you will get most of blog with nofollow mask which is useless for linking

if you found any blog which don't have nofollow mask then post a very reletive comment on those blog. and you will get a .edu backlink for free also share link of those blog here.

you can also use this trick for gov backlink
    ex:
    site:.gov inurl:blog “post a comment”
    Code (markup):

Also, try modifying the query to inurl:wordpress or inurl:guestbook, etc.

just view the source of the page and if you see the nofollow tag then that is a nofollow url

I believe there's a firefox plugin that tells you if it's nofollow or not.

I hate to burst your bubble, but this is flat out wrong. .edu and .gov TLDs are no more important to SEO than any other TLD because the search engines do not rank them higher or give them any preferential/special treatment. They treat all TLDs equally.

Replying on blogs to get backlinks is a pointless endeavour and not only a waste of your time, but also your ROI (return on investment). Besides, your comments will seem to be spammy and will either be eaten up by Akismet, Bad Behavior, and/or the blog owner anyway, which will just mean all your "hard work" will have been for nought.

    See above.

Yes, there is a FireFox Plug in and I use it all the time. It highlights all the NO Follow links in Pink on the page you are viewing.

I don't think you know what you are talking about. I constantly reply on blogs and they are very good for easy backlinks and I have on several occasions used blogs in order to get high in the SERPs. Contradicting just for the heck of it in order to appear smarter is not always the best option.

please share any other gov or edu blogs if you have experienced. I'm quite new to blog posting, so need to ask one thing; when we enter a blog there are 2 things to post:
    A post
    A comment to post
    which one is better?
it takes time n thought to write a post whether it takes a min or two write a comment!!!
