a lot of people thought that by luring in HUGE traffic, anyone can make a lot of money through sales. The thing is, I seen people make money through upselling with low traffic and they earn over those that has ten times the traffic of theirs.
Come on guys a web design business is not selling clickbank ebooks spamming craigslist! $20,000 for a web design business is not a surprise
Good one! This gentleman has obviously put in the work...and I commend him for that. Contrary to popular belief, money from the internet doesn't just fall in your lap without having some knowledge and a LOT of hard work.
Congrats on your success pal. Hard work does pay off, so does having a marketable talent. Too many folks are expecting something for nothing, I think you have offered some sound advice. Hard work = Success, even in the wild west. Best of luck to you. cheers.
The traffic source doesn't matter if the traffic is targeted. Can be from Google, Yahoo to PPC advertising. There are a lot of more ways to do money easier then this, without having to take care of the development, unhappy customers, etc.. An unexperienced guy in SEO and promotion would need a budget from $500-1500/month to get on these results in 6-12 months. But every time it pays, like in any business, you don't need huge traffic to make money.
aaahh so? this is what i told before, people think that you need tons of traffic to make money...this is why all webmasters get stick and fail in the first month, they focus too much on getting tons of traffic and fail
if you started this in 1 year what did you do with the rest of your time on DP since you joined in 2005!
No offense, but he's posted absolutely nothing but a lot of bad English about how he made money (with a link to his blog with AdSense ads, *obviously*). If you have to be so blatantly bad with what you're trying to do, at least give something useful back (saying general stuff like "it takes a lot of hard work doesn't count). And to make any money online with ads, you DO need a lot of visitors. Of course you don't if you sell a product.
I dont think this post is very helpful, you share no information, tips etc Basically it reads to me like this ' I made £2800 yesterday, work hard and you can too '.
this is a tip "work hard" because all of this people think they can do a lot doing simple thing, working 2-3 hours
