    Can anyone point me in the direction of a couple affiliate sites that produce a few bucks a month....I just want to get some general ideas for setting up a site.

    Before you begin be aware that 98 percent of internet affiliate marketers will fail. That is they lose money. Most of those that do make money find that they make very little. You are better off selling your own stuff. JMHO

    I dont know if that is entirely true. Well, I guess there are enough people in this world attempting it that make very little money so it may be true.

    Just dont expect to sit on your butt and watch cash flow in all day long without some propper work first

    I'm aware of the pitfalls and, fortunately, have about 18 hours per day to devote to it. I'm dedicated and serious.
    Can you name a couple sites to look at?....need more ideas.

    I have my pharmacy store and have affiliate program and work well. Then I use genbucks, then CJ, linkshare and other

    How can you lose money at affiliate marketing unless you are paying for your traffic? All of my sites make money; total operating cost: $5/month, traffic cost: $0. I admit, I suck at PPC.. but to say that affiliate marketing is hard and 98% fail? Maybe 98% don't know what they're doing because they treat it like PPC/CPM ads, but it isn't difficult.

    While making money with affiliates isnt a walk in the park there is PLENTY of money to be made doing it.... the key is what niche are you looking to go into as there are 1000's of affiliates out there it all depends on what niche you want to go towards... feel free to reply back or PM me with specific questions.

    Go for high value stuff - Poker, Insurance, Mortgages... That kind of thing.

    first build one site, and do it quickly. (Like, take a day at the most).

    As long as you get *some* (targetted) traffic you'll make money (Might not be a *lot* of money)...

    Then build 10 more sites and do it again...
