Your CTR (click through ratio) is 4% which is good. What you need is to get more visitors. The blog looks great.

4% is pretty bad imho or is this good for a blog? I don't use Adsense on blogs but normal web sites and I never get below 10%.

4% is very low in my opinion, you need to increase traffics by ranking in some keyword which is not a random search and change your template to gain more CTR.

Isn't his CTR 1% not 4%. CTR is determined by the number of clicks per # of page views.

4,1.... getting lower with every post :)

I would put in a large rectangle right below the Title so the Ads are the first things a visitors see. I would also put ads on the right side. And I would change the link color of the Ads to blue. And I would remove the ad unit at the top.

Learn how to use social media to drive traffic to your blog, also please disable the feedburner chicklet for the time being. It can be pretty demoralizing to see 4 subscribers; put the count back on when you've reached a honorable 3 figure number.

Build backlinks then & try to get links on related blogs - such as, a link in their blogroll.

Use DIGG and StumbleUpon to help generate traffic. Like another poster mentioned, update your site with current material. Twitter is great too
