Well I have just bought the Build A Niche Site script. Now I am onto finding a niche. I think I have found one that seems reasonable. I figured this because all of its products have bids on them. Now I am just worried once I buy the domain and set it up how I will draw traffic. Can anyone that owns a BANS site give me some methods on how to draw some traffic to a site like this?
Google Adsense will bring you targeted traffic. Buying the BANS script was the easy part I am afraid. Now getting the traffic is another.
How will adsense bring me targeted traffic? I never have used adwords or anything else. Is there a way I can SEO a site like this? The niche is in automotive by the by.
Can anyone help me with attracting traffic to my new BANS site? By the way you can check it out here... www.findacamaro [dot] com
i think he meant adwords..ie ppc. i would imagine a keyword like buy a camaro would be quite expensive. if i were u id aim for SE traffic. Start getting inbound links for a start
Alright thanks for the information soulbleed. I will start getting inbounds when I get back. Anyone else got a way?
You should have figured out how to get traffic before you purchased [fill in the blank] 1. Instant but expensive traffic = Google Adwords 2. Slow building but cheap traffic = SEO for Google (backlinks will help with Google ranking not traffic directly) 3. Time consuming but cheap traffic = Posting to blogs, forums and social networks. Also, I don't see a real draw to these BANS sites since they are just listing the same Ebay auctions already on Ebay. Best case you would augment an existing niche site with the auctions feature to monetize existing traffic. Good luck!
Currently, I have 4 stores setup. I have yet to spend a dime on any of them to drive traffic. Granted, one is better than the others, but BANS does a hell of a job for seo. I am on the 1st and 2nd pages of Google for 3 competitive keywords and keyword phrases. Obviously, you need to find a good niche with slim competition (just make sure that people are actually looking for your niche). I have also found some ads in the wanted section of Craigslist that I responded to. PM me if you need any more help.
