Hi Friends I have a doubt regd site which provides user to go to have their own webpages, but can be accessed with a "~". For example faculty & student pages in Universities. I guess Google also indexes these pages.

Can anybuddy throw some light on how google is able to reach these pages???

    Thanks,

Somewhere there is a link to them and Google finds them. Whether that link is from your main site or on another site the user has created, I don't know

If there are no links to the pages but they are on an established domain which does have links pointing to it you should use the google sitemaps feature to get your pages indexed.
