AdSense article in NYTimes with Shawn Hogan

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Jenstar, Jan 15, 2006.

I picked up the latest AdSense news articles tonight off GNews and spotted a New York Times article, and recognized the picture of Shawn before I even read anything on the page. It is definitely worth a read, it has some good information highlighted there.

    And congrats Shawn :)

Hahaha... lordy. Kind of funny how they wanted a picture of Yashi in it. :) He wasn't cooperating too well. :) Kind of a weird looking picture of me too. Oh well...

I think it's supposed to be in the print version today (business section).

Congrats Shawn! As a European, we only know a few american news papers and NY Times is one of them so it is probably a very big news paper in the US!

    Nice read, very nice picture!

Holy spawn of satan... that is one homely cat

I had nightmares the first time I saw a photo of that... creature. If they start all over again, I'm going to hire the Simms and Simms people or whatever their name was...

    >> it pays roughly 78.5 cents back to sites

That was pretty much inline with what I had come up with after doing the calculations from the original SEC filings Google did for the IPO.

I got a laugh out of the "Mr. Hogan" (I know the NY Times always uses that after mentioning the full name)

It almost sounded like Amit was writing the article..I was expecting a Mr. DigitalPoint thrown in there

Does that 78.5 cent figure include Premium publishers like AOL? Smaller publishers may not be getting that much but I don't know for sure.

    In any case, congratulations Shawn!

The picture looks fine. The article was a good read too.

By the way, I just need to say the following:
    "sexual-performance drugs", "viagra", "cialis" :p
