    Hi there.
I was on a gambling website (Bet365) for approximately 10months. Recently someone had got my Username and Password along with my IP address and taken out £17000 within 20 minutes. I realised this amount of money had gone because i decided I wanted a new car for christmass. When i tried to transfer the money to the seller, thats when I realised. (Bet365) blame me claiming I was careless saying the IP address matches my home address. But i swear I didnt because i dont gamble with casino, I only like sportsbook. And there is no way I would spend £17000 ($34000)US in 20 minutes precisely.
If anyone can help please please please do so.

Why on Earth did you have $35,000 in a gambling application anyway?! For that high amount of money at least ring them...

Not sure what this is doing in Google area.
I presume they took it out of your bank?

Either way you are probably screwed.

Go to the police about it. Thats the best thing to do. Also contact your bank about it.

£17000 is a massive sum of money to loose, i'm sorry it happened to you.

As far as I know bookmakers they lock/email you when IP of some other country logs into your account also they withdraw large sums like yours only to bank accounts so ask them the bank information and how in the world did anyone managed to steal your IP lol
Bet365 is a big and serious company they take full security precautions.
What I can make out from this is you got bored and made up this story

Ouch... Working closely with Bet365 is probably your best chance... Ask them for logs in the time period you believe this may have happened. See what the logs tell you and where the lead goes, then you can try your luck further...

Unless they connected remotely to your PC because you have some kind of remote assistance on your pc(Vnc,Logmein, etc), then they would not be able to use your exact IP address.

Also, do you have a GOOD firewall running?

I know this is after the fact now, so contact a cyber department and report it right away, and be sure not to delete any event logs off of your PC.

If the money came directly off your credit or debit card you can contact the card holder and file idenity theft report, if the money came out of an account set up with the gambling source, your probably out of luck. You may need to file a police report( On the original theft ) to get action from the card holder.

    Good luck
