All this gurus selling ebooks online telling you the same exact thing with different words. If they make millions as they said, why would they lose their time selling you a $9.99 ebook special price. Why would someone making millions waste time with that and make more millions? becuase it's no-sense, they get rich telling you stuff that is free online with research and you paying them your 5 bucks. They also tell you that results can vary, of course, it would not work as much as their incredible claims. Newbies beware!
Welcome to the internet I believe it's best summed up by one of my favorite book titles - "All Marketers are Liars" (very good read btw).
Well if i would earn milions and have a secret certanly will not make a book and sell it that's for sure
I agree, I am sorry to say but if I was a millionaire, pretty sure I would stop writing e-books, and buy cars. heh heh.
well, of course they sell what you can find for free... The best way to earn money is to sell something, that is for free to you, your profit is at max. And if you sell something, that will make lazy people go YES, well then you are on a good way to your first million. Thats marketing. (even I bought one when I was fresh, and it suxxed, got nothing out of it) P.
Are they saying that they are making millions? If I were in their shoes, I would instead say that I am taking home six figures a year, and I would still sell an e-book explaining how I did it. What better way to make money by showing people how I make money, in addition to showing them how the big site became big? I'm still young yet, well, almost, *cough* and I want to semi-retire before I'm 55, and selling an additional item will help me do that. Maybe the honest ones are thinking the same thing??? I don't know. Who the hell knows.
Unless that is how you've made your money from the get go. Ebooks are low cost. You can buy them with rights to put your name on it as author ...and you have to change the words around. They put more into the ads selling the ebook than the ebook itself. I'll admit I was suckered in on more than one. And like you guys have said, the info is the same that is available for free only these marketors will be happy to charge you for it and they'll make claims that you to can get rich from it. General rule of thumb, if it says quick and easy it's a scam. Buyer beware.
Some people outside of SEO think that SEO industry are get rich spammers due to how our industry is. ebooks do have some value, some more than others. Aarons SEOBook is a good choice for new webmasters that want to get a 350+ page read on just about everything that has happen in the last 10 years with SEO. We use it to train everyone at our company. A value of a ebook, book, or anything is only to the person that paid for it. I got a friend that makes the high end 6 figs a year and he loves ebooks... Buys a couple a month and reads them all... Im more the type of person to wait and see how many people like it, maybe even read some of the book for free before Im willing to throw down hundreds or thousands on them.
In regard to selling an ebook for $9.95, if someone could actually sell a million copies then it pays. Results: 86% sell = zero 11% sell = approx. 100 per mth 3% sell = from a few thousand to a few hundred thousand per month and that means, sure they are making some major money
