I know freedom of speech exist, but maybe you can tone down a bit about Allah, I do not think insulting what others believe in is necessary to drive your point across. I am not a Muslim but I think respect for each other's religions or lack of religion is necessary.

I fully agree. I have been disrespectful to religions I didn't understand, in the past, and it got me nowhere at all.

I just want to point out something here, notice your tone, notice your hatred, notice your anger, you are not at peace, that is why you need God. If God was working in your life you would not feel these things. Why do people believe in God? Because he satisfies our emptiness. Those that he calls will hate only the sin he once did, and will seek God and want God. Why do we worship God, because we love him, why do we love him? because he abides in us. Because he first loved us. How do i know this? I can feel it, i can see the changes he has brought me, i now hate the sin i once loved. God is good. The bible teaches of Gods wrath, because we are supposed to fear God, not man. The old testament was a preparation for christ. It was boot camp for the real war. The new testament brings the new war, the war on the heart, the war of love. There is much destruction in the old, but the new, which we follow now, is of love, and any man declaring war in Gods name is no man of God. You said religion has caused a lot of wars, i say no, false religion has brought those wars. The new testament teaches submission and love. We are to let God handle our issues. With him we can be worry free. I am a man of flesh, but the spirit resides in me, if someone came to me and robbed me, i would want to fight him, God tells us to give him what he wants and than some. I find this hard as I'm sure many would, but its the teachings of Jesus.

Hrm, I knew this thread was really about religion and not god...
I have some dislike of organized religions, the way in which so much extraneous dogma is caked onto some of the most inspired and wonderful beliefs and philosophies about life, the universe, and everything that one could imagine. It's almost as if there actually was some holy man inspired by god at some point and he was surrounded by idiots with pens. Who knew even more idiots with pens they couldn't wait to tell about it.
I sometimes wonder if god came down and got on television and told everyone the secrets to the universe if we would all probably change the channel or even believe them.
I think a belief in god is somewhat a natural thing to arrive at, but religion on the other hand seems more about choosing to believe something, or faith as most people think of it.
So next time you want to make a thread about how religion is stupid please leave god out of it :D

How about people who believe in God but aren't religious? Certainly millions of such people exist.

If there is any believer in here, could you make a call to Him and ask to help the 25,000 infants who will die of malnutrition tomorrow? Because today, it didn't work, neither yesterday or the day before...
So, if God loves His creations, can He move His little finger for once?

    Thank you.

What about the millions that aren't dying of malnutrition? Do you expect this to be heaven? Bad things happen to good people. It's a fact of life whether you're an Atheist, Satanist, Christian, or whatever.

Did you do anything for them today?

One day I just look at my 2 years old son running around the room, and then watch him fell and cried.
Next day, I watched him, and see that he become more careful while running around the room.

People should learn from the lesson, just like my son.
The problem is, people are getting more and more arrogant.
If god always interfere people problem, than people will getting lazier and lazier and says
"We have god to take care all of our problem"

We are people, we should take care of our own problem.

Well said. I agree. We don't even need any God now...Let's do the job ourselves...I'm sure it can't be worse...
