Canep Media, a Great Ads Solution

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by qardinal, Dec 17, 2007.

i've been holding my tongue on Canep until they issued my first payment, even though i'd always been very pleased with their program.

well i received it, very promptly, and i'm writing this to let everybody know about my experiences. from my use of canep i've been paid very well, it actually took me off of my dependancy on adbrite which pisses me off to no end with their pathetic customer service, horribly slow ads, and constant issues.

canep is a very well established ads program, i believe owned by msn, with great customer service and payout rates, and they pay net30 which is a godsend, and as i said before, a welcome change from adbrite.

anyways, just wanted to share my experiences. hopefully my relationship with canep will continue to prosper.

Nope, not owned by Microsoft. The platform they are using, Adecn, is owned by Microsoft. That is like saying Cpx is owned by Yahoo because the platform they use is Right Media, which in turn, is owned by Yahoo.

Big difference. Glad to hear they pay though.

qardinal, thank you for your positive review of our network. Its always nice to hear that our publishers are happy with our services.

Just to confirm, Canep Media is an independent company, and is not owned in any way by Microsoft. As User_Online said, our ad serving partner, AdECN, was acquired by Microsoft earlier this year. This is the extent of our relationship with Microsoft.

In regards to traffic, we do in fact accept international traffic. With that said we do not offer any fill rate guarantees. Obviously, if you send us traffic from Congo and China, you will not see as good of fill rates as if you were sending us traffic from US and UK, however we will do our best to fill as much of your ad inventory as possible. We give our publishers the option of selecting a third party default ad that we will run free of charge whenever we cannot fill your inventory. You can even set a minimum CPM rate that we must fill, or the ad will pass-through to your third party ad.

If you have additional questions please feel free to open a ticket in our helpdesk, which can be accessed on our website.

@slava do you accept traffic from india ? i used your network for about couple of days. only about 4-5k impression was accepted by your network and other traffic was sent to my alternative ads. I usually get 200-300k impressions per day. 50% are from india, 10% from USA.

Coolvision and D4KNull, we do not offer any guaranteed fill rates, which means that the amount of impressions that we will be able to fill from any country will depend on our available advertisers at the time. However with that said we do allow international traffic. We also allow you to specify a default ad of your choice, so sending us the traffic is risk free to you. You have nothing to loose by trying us out.

Pumpkinflirt, we will issue a press release when we expand our available payment options to our publishers.

    Hello Kaizoku,

We do not issue publishers flat CPM rates. Our rates are dynamic and are determined by many factors which include your traffic quality, geographic source, conversion ratio, and more. The best way for you to see the potential of our ads running on your sites, is by trying us out.

Hello StarSoheil, I took a look at your account, and optimized it for performance, you should see better CPM rates now. Please PM me if you have any questions.

If you set your min. bid rate higher that should raise the overall CPM you are receiving.
