Google are doing some crazy stuff this month, I have new site (only a couple of months old) and the GoogleBot is hitting it 50k times every day, the bot alone has used up almost 20 gigs of bandwidth this month.

It's already translated into traffic from Google, only about 500 visitors a day so far but the terms and traffic are growing day over day.
And the site has 146k pages indexed, now thats just damn weird.

Yep, me thinks get ready for serp update anytime soon. Don't forget gotta keep that big fat index happening for the public. Hmmm, wonder why they have hidden supplemental? Most of the checks I have done show me that *at least* half of the entire google index is supplemental. (just a guess from my own data)

wow...that's the first time to see so many index pages of one site. Are you sure there are that many pages in your website?

My index on my site has been screwed up for some time now. site:mydomain.com, showed around 15,000 indexed pages, but site:mydomain.com/subdir showed around 50,000. At the same time my site sky rocketed in traffic about 2 months ago from google, my page rank went to zero, from a 7. My indexed pages dropped from around 150,000 to the 15,000 about the same time.

Anyhow... here a few days ago, it jumped from 15,000 to a little over 1,000,000 pages indexed. I have noticed a "slight" increase in traffic since the change, an extra 1-2k page impressions, nothing huge, but not complaining either.

I don't really care what PR or number of indexed pages, run a 7 year old site that has a purpose... but just glad to get google traffic that I had lost for about 6 months in 2007 back here a few months back.
