    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

I think this is a good question!

What if some psycho weirdo put your Adsense ID on their code and you visit their page and click on the ad whithout knowing it was yours, will you get banned by Google? Personally, I think this is one of the reason why a publisher gets banned and pleads that he/she did nothing wrong. Damn! Will I have to check every site's code whenever I want to click on an ad to see if it's containing my Adsense ID?

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

Why someone will put your adsense code with your adsense ID in their website? It's not making any sense...

Thats right, in any case if someone wants you to get banned, will try clicking 5000 time in your ads, not making money for you!

i think the only person who would do that is someone you know who has a big grudge against you. otherwise, if he's just a adsense-publisher-hater he'll click bomb you.

A good reason for G to add a function to see the referring site of clicks.

I think that if someone put your adsense ID on their website that person could be one of two things:
1- stupid, because all clicks would result in money for you
2- Evil, and would click like hell at the ads to see you get banned a day or two later.

You should not worry about this since if such an event would happen your ip would not be the cause for this overclicking wouldn't it? ;)

The situation you described is the same basicly when someone is click bombing you on one of your own sites and you should not worry about this since G will determine it's not your ip and not your actions for the cause of this abuse.

Extremely unlikely. I've accidentally clicked on my own ads at least three or four times and never had a problem. Just simply forgot I was looking at one of my own pages - it happens, it's small potatoes and I doubt anyone cares.
