If I'm starting up a new blog, would it be bad for me to purchase a package for 2000 backlinks from other blogs? I heard you should only get 25 new links a month for the first 6 months.....true or false?
i think 2k backlinks is not high and on the other side google will not find all of your backlinks in one day. in my opinion, google will find 2k backlinks after 2-3 months
Why do people buy backlinks? This is a useless methid imho, you could spend the money on so many better things. Not also to consider that many of those backlinks might be sites being penalized by Google or other search engines.
Get as many backlinks as you can. I'd suggest trying to get them from sites that relate to yours though.
what's to point of getting 2k irrelevant backlinks? you don't know where they came from you don't know weather they can do harm to you're blog they are definitely not quality relevant links I don't think that it can do any good to your blog, or any harm either it's just a waste of money
You can do this absolutely free by using a blog and ping method. It's true the links won't last forever but they'll be 10 times better because this method actually brings in visitors. Those visitors will read your content and link to you (if your blog is good, which i'm sure it is ). Then the snowball has already started rolling. Good Luck
I've had sites disappear from Google listings after gaining a great deal of backlinks in the first week. There's no proof that was the reason it was penalized, but personally I think it was. 25 new links a month seems low to me- I think you could get more and not worry.
if i were you i will hire an seo or link building rather than buy 2k useless backlinks that is not related to your blog i am sure that there are a lot of seo company or free lance that offer a low services for your blog, not only that you get a quality backlink but make your site rank in a search engine and get quality traffic coming from search engine.
If the blogs are quality sure, but if not it's not going to help alot. Don't worry too much about them being related or not, just ensure they are all indexed with fresh cache dates and Pagerank.
Remix, The whole point in link building is not to over-spam and suddenly stop it. The link building has to be a continuous process as in, you should be constantly building links and slowly decreasing the number of links or increasing the number of links. It doesnt matter if you build 2000 links a month unless you stop the next month...
