Blogger header is splitting my head offfff!!!!!

    hi there i have a very irritating problem.I have a blog on which i wish to add a background image for my blogger header.I went on template-header.....edit.
    i browsed the image from my pc.When i select the option of placing the image behind my header text.........the IMAGE DOESNTAPPEAR AT ALL.While when i select the option of placing header image INSTEAD OF HEADER TEXT......THE IMAGE APPEARS!!!!:mad: why doesnt the image appear behind my header text as i want both........................header image and header text:confused:Where am i going wrong???

    site's url required for commenting.
    have you uploaded that image somewher or isit on your hardrive
