I'm in the US and still can't get accepted have a very high ranked site and everything...no reply at all!!!
Yea im in usa to. I applied before witha pr3 site but they never replied and i dont have it anymore now. But i reapplied several times with other sites not high pr but they get alot of hits.. I never got any replys from any aplications.. I reapplied today with a new site hopefully they will acccept me this time..
It's not like gmail where you could just send invitation. Only you requested one from Yahoo a year ago might get one.
Wow look what i just got in my email today Thank you for applying for the Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program. It is currently in beta and we are accepting a very limited number of new publishers, but we will let you know when we launch to the general public or if we are able to invite you to join the beta before then. To maximize your chances for approval, please make sure: You have a valid U.S. Social Security or Tax ID number, and web site content that is predominately in English and targeted at a U.S. user base. Your site provides a good user experience. Please see our complete list of guidelines for a positive user experience here: https://publisher.yahoo.com/legal/prog_policy.php. Your site does not contain problematic content. Please see our guidelines for displaying our ad results here: https://publisher.yahoo.com/legal/prog_policy.php. Thanks again for your interest. We look forward to welcoming you into our program when it is open to the public. Sincerely, The Yahoo! Publisher Network Team Im glad at least they replied hopefully they will accept me sooon
You are right He got denied not accepted thats how companies make you feel better even know you got denied you still happy good luck anyways
yup.. its just a polite denial.. it isn't obvious but here's what made it say that your application is rejected or still under consideration "it is currently in beta and we are accepting a very limited number of new publishers, but we will let you know when we launch to the general public or if we are able to invite you to join the beta before then."
Here is what I think. Where it says "Do you use competitor ads" (or something along those lines), put Google adsense. YPN would be doubling productivity that way (-Google +Yahoo) and (IMO) you would have a better chance getting in.
How long has Yahoo Publisher Network been in 'beta'. I don't think that damn thing will ever open to the public.
