i told a mod about the porn link in this members sig
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=70742

she questioned whether it was ok to link so porn, i sent her a link to a post by Shannon (see above), and she read it, then left the member unbanned and the link in tact.

if a Mod like Shannon has posted that porn links are no allowed, why did this mod refuse to take any action? have the rules on porn changed?

When did you tell them about it? An hour ago? We try to give members time to change their inappropriate signature links on their own before taking any other action.

Give it some time, I guarantee the mod in question has not turned a blind eye Samantha.

his thread asking the female members to post pics of our breasts was locked http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=598160
thats what caught my attention to his sig. just how long do porn pics remain on DP?
links are links fine. but if they are not allowed in the 1st place. why are you saying they are allowed for a set amount of time so a user can change it himself?

wow do you know how crazy that sounds?

There are also rules about how we go about handling matters like this. I guess it's just a matter of which rule has more importance.

The matter is being looked into and at this point, that's all you need to know, dissing a mod who is following the rules in not necessary.

I think we should keep our heads cool with matters like this. Let the mods do their jobs.

I know what you mean ive heard of alot people in a certain thread in the bst getting infractions from mods for posting legit questions i believe its in the break the vault thread. Here lately ive been afraid to even post anything since people are getting infractions for no reason from the mods i dont know what its coming to when you get afraid to post something in a forum.

People don't get infractions for "no reason". They get infractions for breaking the rules. It's not that complicated really.

Maybe if it was some lesbian porn you would not be so against it, would you?

Did you start all this because I deleted your post in which you quoted another member's post that was deleted as well?

I'm not going to ban members just because you think they need a ban, they must have a good reason too.

By the way, I was offline when you started sending me PMs and telling to ban him. In case you didn't notice..

I banned that user and it was nothing to do with porn links (can someone pm the porn links just for research purposes ).

The user was banned for posting something very very vulger (by me) for 7 days. Same as anyone would be.

    I agree with your agreeing!

You know most of the mods here play the spoon infraction game. I actually started it. Its where we take a spoon and go up and down the screen and whoever it lands on we give an infraction too. Don't laugh its very fun!

Sometimes the best reason for giving out an infraction is no reason. I mean that makes sense right?

it had nothing to do with a deleted post. you were the only mod online, thats why i sent you the pm.
that user posted a thread asking all dp women to post pics of your breasts, that was locked by you when i reported it, i looked at his sig links and one lead to a movie containing hard core porn.
2 weeks ago a user was banned for posting a link to a movie of a girl taking a dump in a glass. that was 1 link, this is 300+ link to a movie of a girl pushing 10 12 inch candles out of her vagina.
what is the point in banning one guy for 1 link and not the other for potentally having 10,000 links to porn?
you questioned it, so i sent you a link to a Mods post saying porn links in sigs are not allowed, you read that pm, and read that thread, and then went offline.

    porn link sent in pm.
after asking women to post pics of their breasts and having a porn link in his sig, that should be enough to suggest the type of person it is.

only a ban can remove the sig links and a short ban removes them and sends an email to the person so they can remove them when they get back or an admin can when they get time.

to ban one person for 1 porn link in a post and not ban another with 3000 porn links in a sig is crazy if you ask me.

and your just a dickhead, enjoy the red rep

I fully agree. Children use this forum.

The girls and the cup film is everywhere. I exited the browser before it was even 4 seconds in. A video on youtube shows a guy almost vomitting when watching it...

some people are sick in this world. Much worse happens than this though. Mods should rpune users sig. They do it at WHT and give infractions for it. Its about time DP got more serious for whats in a sig and what isnt.
