Check them for references befor you buy.
(My 2c on regfly I didn't like what I read about them.)
I do see though, that there are a few people who promote them on this forum.

Yeah that's true, people say bad things about them.
But if you don't need support and only care about the price go with it :)

I would rather pay $10.00 for a domain name, than waste 3 days and countless emails and phone calls to save a few bucks. Time is money. Imagine your website starts making you $50 a day one day? You get the rest .....

I am a member of registerfly.com with more than 50 domains on them... the only bad thing to them is that their support is very slow and sometimes never reply tickets.

It's also hard to register .info domains... you will get a failure of registration message but when you try to register again the domain it will display a message saying that the domains is not available anymore... and when you check it, you will find out that it was registered at registerfly.com.

With name cheap I got my site running today for about 15min.
With regfly I couldn't open their web site for at least 20min. As we speak I tried to connect with them again. Here is what I got:

    "Unable to connect"

I suggest you guys from reg fly (I suppose) stop advertising it and further damaging the name of a company that cannot perform. Also you are going to do a big favor to all those who come to dp if you provide inof for good companies only.

Seems like REGFLY is having some site issues. That's not fraud. I have lots of domains there from purchases and never had a problem. Their email support is slow but honestly what do you have to ask them? Rarely does anything go wrong. You reg a name, change dns, renew, push...it's simple. What does their support have to do with it unless you are a complete n00b of course.

You don't RF..fine..use another registrar but calling them a scam is over the top.

Just for a referrance, how much time it takes it to register a domain name with them, and transfer it to your host?
Seems like their site is up and running now.

The only way I could buy from them is if I can do fast purchase and easy DNS name transfer. I do hope they do a good job.

The support guy I talked to said they've just added 4 new servers to their system which was why they were a bit laggy these past days, but they seem to be okay today.

I got a .be domain, and it is not working. I transfered it to my web hosting company and put a dammy index.html file just to check it out. (with name cheap that is not an issue to work)
I don't know what is going on, and there the support seems not te be their "strenght", so just waiting.

Yeah like I said before..it was a bug not a scam. Sure their support it terrible but as registrars go they are not that abnormal. Godaddy support is terrible as well. I prefer Moniker. I have perfect track record with them. They are also the most secure registrar on the web.

I have 75 domains registered with Fly, including serveral .info, a few are transfers but most were registered with them directly. I have registered a new name with them before and had the dns working in less then an hour. No problems ever.

I bought Who is protection today, ... not working yet. Sent them an email (supposed to have an answer 2-4 hours) no reply yet. I would like to get the privacy first, have to wait.
