    To be serious, if you use flash intro, some shadows and some effects. You can make a clear, very cool and elegant looking website, and that does matter to the visitors. One of my projects loads up faster than the avarage website and is extrememly nice looking.

    If you have the skillz, go for the looks. Just make sure that your site loads fast and is user friendly. All this new shit about looks don't matter is utter bullshit.

    Anyway, you have some good points there... and funny to read.
