Millions of people daily are experiencing some trauma about either a circumstance that they are involved or something to do with their appearance or health. These people are desperate for solutions that will make all their problems go away and they will pay a price for it. Suggested niches to start with: · People unhappy with their appearance - ie too much hair over the body, losing hair, acne, overweight, underweight, wanting to bulk up, ugly unhealthy teeth, chronic nail biters, etc · People who are in some kind of financial difficulty - they may need credit urgently but can’t find anyone to lend them money, they may be about to lose their home, they may be desperate for finance for some reason or other (there are even a lot of searches for financing for breast implants) · People who are wanting to improve their quality of life in some way - work less hours, have more money, start a home business, become a successful gambler, get more access to their children, get as much as possible in a divorce settlement, get a better job, have the car of their dreams, find their soulmate, bring back a lost love, etc · People are always willing to forego spending money on themselves in favour of their children or their pets - children may have a certain disease that they need help living with (ADD) or their dog may be a constant shoe chewer, etc, you get my drift! HOpe this helps. Colleen
Great tips! Sometimes it is just nice to actually see it written down, to remember where to focus. Thanks! Marie
I would also add people that have no choice but to purchase a product, such as medical supplies after an accident.
lol marketing to misfortune, the oldest form of marketing, but effective, I will add that if the script can cnovnice the buyer that you can solve their problem it will sell.
The marketers need not feel bad, the people still need the product and will appreciate it. They will have to buy it someplace. It's a matter of getting in their face first and selling them (as you said).
Now that we know who to market to, we need to know how to market to them. I run a site that looks to help people by giving them a nutritious drink and an amazing business opportunity that is actively working for me, but they aren't flocking like I thought they would. How do I get a flock?
Why do they need this drink? You need to look in the right places... That's a subject I could write a book about, but a good place to start are forums that people with health issues actively participate. Use article marketing, rent space on a list, use chatrooms and craigslist, even try PPC if its in your budget. Write an article and get it digged. Create a blog and a maillist of your own, bribe people to join it. Set up your own affiliate system and get people to distribute it for you be creative. Good luck. If you need a professional to do these things for you my rates are quite reasonable.
