I am going to ask about the unaskable RED REP LOL

I have been looking at my control panel and noticed that I got a red rep today.

I checked to see what the thread was and its for this thread in May 2007

A guy did the work for me and I paid him straight away without any problems.

I made a post saying that someone was chosen to do the work as soon as I excepted them.

The feedback from the red just says "OK"

Does this sometimes happen that members go around giving red for threads that are 7 months old ?

 

Did they only give it today or was it given 7 months ago?

Yes it was today,never said who left it.
I think someone must of given me red rep by mistake ?

I have no problem with the rep system,I am just confusied as to why today I have got it for that thread ?

 

Some ppl get off on sending red rep, but they never sign it.. Just shows how week they are IMO.

I wouldn't worry to much about rep around here

Seems strange to give red for an 8 month old post.

 

It happens and don't let it worry you.

Looking back through your post, I see a lot in the General Chat, sometimes people do not like what you say there but they go to another of your threads to leave the rep because rep does not count in General Chat. Not much you can do, just let it roll off your back and move on.

 

May be by mistake..

Forget it and go on with your work

 

I got red repped for a couple month old post, doesn't really matter though.

Post decent stuff and the green will far outweigh the red

AH thanks I never new rep did not count in General chat,I think that could be the answer to the puzzle...

 

Just forget about it. Try to improve the quality of your posts. It should be fine.
