am having a low PR as compared to my competitor but my penetration and density for some keywords is higher than him. But for the same search , my site is listed below his website. Please give me solution Thanks in advance
without knowing the keywords and sites to look we can only guess. Bear in mind if the competitors site has been around longer than yours that will work in his favour since Google likes older sites. Also maybe he has more relevant backlinks than you. Assuming your sites are similar in size and both well optimised then your best chance is to build more relevant backlinks than he has. I wouldn't worry about your PR compared to his, its a misnomer. Although gaining backlinks from relevant sites with decent PR will help you.
Relevancy of links is of more value than PR. Your competitor may have links pointing to him with more relevenacy, you may have links pointing to you with higher PR. Having more word density does not always mean better optimisation. If Google feels your words are repeated too much or you have too many pages with too similar content it may apply a filter or just not recognise some pages. Here is a personal example. I have found that with my sites where my URL matches my keywords, i cannot get away with the word density others do (who have a brand name for a url), before a filter affects my rankings. Mark
Simply NO High PR doesn't mean Good Rankings Good rankings has more chances (that the site will be high PR) but it's not a must
search result positioning is highly depends on the content of the site. When you are having high PR, the advantage is that Google crawler comes more often and that's how you may be benifited
Linking sites has some PR, it's PR gives you better position in SE (stronger PR will boost you higher).
what do you mean by penetration and density ? age helps the site relevance of links also helps count of links does not really help if they are from the same IP
