I have written on this forum a lot of time back that many affiliates fail to make $250 per month. I have also written the 5 most important reasons of failure in affiliate marketing and how to overcome them on my blog. So in this little thread, I would like to give you some tips to make $250 per month from your Internet marketing efforts! I assume you have some kind of blog or website setup. If not, get a domain name or set up a free blog on blogspot. 1. If you haven't signed up with affiliate networks, do so by signing up at the top 4 affiliate networks: cj.com linkshare.com azoogleads.com clickbank.com 2. If you haven't signed up with PPC networks, sign up here. My top 3 PPC networks: 1. Google Adsense 2. WidgetBucks 3. Kontera You should write a minimum of 5 articles on your site, quality information and useful information. Your information should do the job of pressing the hot button. It should make them emotionally and mentally ready for the product/service your article is talking about. Don't try to sell any product. Just charge them up and make them mentally ready, about why they should buy that product or service. Below or in the middle of the article, a clear box, with top 3 products about the topic you are discussing with your affiliate links should be placed. You can find this products or services from the affiliate networks stated above. Prepare at least 5-10 blogs with 5plus articles following the above strategies! Place PPC ads on these sites/blogs. Now find the forums, blogs and social networks groups that are related to your topic. And promote your sites on them. Follow the forums/blogs guidelines. Play within the rules. Buy TLA on blogs or sites related to your niche. Buy PPC ads from google and overture for different variations of keywords related to your topic. Do it consistently and I am sure you will see your $250 per month within a months time!

No matter what the tips are the key element in making money with any kind of affiliate programs is traffic. And lots of targeted traffic is very hard to create. It takes energy and time.
It involves actual work, reading, studying, so isn't the #1 reason why so many fail is because they won't do the work, reading, and studying? ... They want results right now?
@ Perry: I guess ur right. No1 wants to read anything anymore. Pl just want fast results. They are dreaming with all those promises "Sign up today and be rich tomorrow", "Get rich while you sleep"... No more hard work for those guys. Anyway, this is good for us. Less competition. ;D
These are some great tips, and very true! I also have to agree with some of you that there is so much HYIP out there that people are just expecting some magical way for money to fall in their laps. That can only be done with alot of hard work over a period of time. I actually still make about $500 a month from a site I no longer have...lol how funny is that? But I put alot of hard work into it, and am still getting paid a residual income 2 years later. I can only imagine what I would be making with that site if I still had it now. Anyhow, thanks for the tips!
i would add, start doing this for products/niches you know something about, will make it easier to write, and hardest part is copywriting, good copy + some knowledge = content worth reading = sales $$$ this is a good site to write copy http://www.copyblogger.com/copywriting-101/ but he gave the basics about charging them up
Well, I don't see how widgetbucks find its place within the PPC networks, since they haven't ever paid a single $ to any publisher yet...Other than that great article. But how much of that $250 is actually profit (after deducting paid search and opportunity cost)
Well Widgetbucks pays per click and they have infact paid this month. You have to remember, they started in October, and accordingly, the payments for that months earnings where due to be paid in December and they rightly paid so. I have already received the money into my paypal account. And they deserve a place in a genuine PPC networks!
"If you want more than $250 per month, I recommend getting a part-time job." And then invest it in advertising.
