i have 3 sites listed ... no wait , i think i had 5 sites listed , but now one expired . sighs !

 

Yes and no, of course. Some are, many are not.

One was added, then removed, then the editor was removed, and my site was re-added, I assume by a META a few months later Corrupt editor 0 - Me 1

 

Have a site listed but most not. Seems very difficult to get accepted so I don:t even bother anymore to submit new sites...

 

I tried submiting some sites in the past. After several months and no results I decided it was not worth the effort.

 

IMO , anything which seems less attainable , is usually worth more of the effort .
like making million dollars , reaching the top 10 in google etc etc

 

I think it is an interesting question...I was wondering what the sucess rate was myself - i have 2 in there and 8 not. They are ALL top quality corperate webistes with a lot of valuable content.

 

Yes......My Site is Listed..

 

I have 2 sites listed for nearly 4 years
and.....
both are deindexed in Google search results for main keyword since 8 months.
which means about 70% of traffic gone.

If you care you keywords rank,you must care the dmoz.
Just like the alexa.
may this and that have some problem,
But in factly neally all of the SE Think about the data DMOZ and alexa show!
Of course,if you dont mind the rank,you can do all thing just on you.


I submittd my web for about 3 months ago,and about 5 times.
But no answer.Even a mail replay.

My blog was accepted almost immediately. I still don't know what it was supposed to do for me, but it's nice to say that it's in.
No big surge in traffic or anything..but maybe it will increase the value if I ever sell the domain.

 

You will not get a reply and every time you submit, you are put to the bottom of the list, so its not a good idea if you want to get your site reviewed and possibly listed. If its rejected you won't be told and submitting over and over will not change that, you will get labelled as a spammer.

Submit once and then forget about it.

My main site is listed, but my two new blogs aren't because I haven't submitted them yet.

I want to get more content first. Don't want to give them an excuse for rejecting me.

 

I have almost lost hope to have my main site listed in DMOZ.
I tried but looks like there is no chance.
There are many ugly sites or just affiliates sites in my category but they don't add my unique site.

how come it takes too much time to get listed?
