Don't change your email address unless it is extremely necessary

Almost 2 weeks back I changed my email address and I was added to the moderation queue. I couldn't post or access my PM. My account was re-activated only today. But now my account has all the limitations of a new account. I can't post in BST section, can't change my sig link. Is this intentional or is it a vBulletin problem?

I advice all DP members not to change your email address, unless it is extremely necessary. :(

Thanks to *Mayank* and the mods (especially MaryMary) for helping me.

I changed my email around a month ago and did not experience any problems.

Thanks God. Now I can access everything. When I posted this thread, my username was shown in light green color.

I don't intend to change my email account ever, because you are not the first one to complain about changing your email address on DP. I think it is best to just leave it as it is, and just keep your email account open.
